Water Efficiency Calculations

Water Efficiency Calculations

Part G of the Building Regulations require that new dwellings meet the maximum water consumption of 125 litres per person per day.

Sometimes the LPA will have a more demanding condition, reducing this to 105 litres per person per person per day. A number of measures can be taken to reduce indoor water consumption, such as low flow shower heads, low flush WC’s.

Our water efficiency calculations are based on the national government calculation methodology entitled, “The Water Efficiency Calculator for New Dwellings”. This provides:

• Notice of Water Efficiency required by 37 (1)
• Summary Page together with all corresponding completed tables
• Separate “Design”(including Builders Check List) and “As Built” reports
